Bhaktapur District Court

Bhaktapur District Court is located at Bhaktapur Durbar Square in Bhaktapur, Nepal. District, located in the eastern part of Kathmandu Valley, is the smallest of Nepal’s seventy-seven districts. It is a district in Bagmati Pradesh. The district is 119 kilometers long and has its district headquarters in Bhaktapur. The Court’s headquarters are in Kathmandu, Nepal’s federal capital. It is regarded as an important District Court in Nepal because it serves both Nepalese and international citizens. The services are available to both Nepalese citizens and foreigners. Any Nepali or foreign citizen who meets the court’s requirements and receives the marriage certificate within 2 business days may have their marriage registered with the court.

Bhaktapur, also widely recognized as Khwopa in Nepal, is a city in the Kathmandu Valley about 13 kilometers from the capital. It is the district headquarters of Nepal’s Bagmati Province and is located in the district of Bhaktapur. In terms of land area, Bhaktapur is Nepal’s smallest city.
