Procedures to obtain Single Status Affidavit

• Once that process in India is completed. The applicant should then book an appointment online with the Indian embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal.
• Applicants must bring the single status affidavit, appointment letter, passport sized photograph, photocopies of the passport, affidavit, and the attestation fee (NPR 3000) with them when they visit the embassy.
• If the documents meet the requirements, the Indian embassy stamps them and returns the stamped document. That document will be submitted to a lawyer, and the process of court marriage registration will begin.
