Morang District Court, Biratnagar. Morang District Court shall hear appeals from quasi-judicial bodies’ decisions, as well as appeals from provincial law decisions, and shall initiate action and punish in contempt of court those who obstruct its or its subordinate courts’ acts of judicial execution or fail to obey the order or verdict.
Any Nepali or foreign citizen who meets the legal requirements may have their marriage registered with the court. If the documents meet the requirements for marriage registration, the court will issue a marriage certificate.
